I've lived in Ozark for around 10 years and have used this station quite a few times.
Large and efficient store. clean and full of merchandise.
As I was in line to pay for a drink, I watched as they hit up an elderly man who gave them some cash. I mentioned it to the cashier, and he said he knew them. I said something along the lines that they really shouldn't be out there at a gas station approaching people for money. He said he could see both sides. I'm wondering if his employer would feel the same way?
The last time I was there, 2 people were panhandling. They asked me for cash, and I declined. 1) It is dangerous to pull out your wallet in public in front of people you don't know 2) As a lady I am always on my guard when a man (even if he is with a woman) approaches me.
Great for a quick and easy fuel and snack shop
I'm sorry, but allowing panhandlers to beg for money outside your establishment makes me feel less than safe and I won't be back. :(
