My wife and I also love shopping in flea markets and resale stores. However, on principle, we will NEVER support a business which discriminates against and tramatizes the morale of our parents in their golden years ar any other elderly citizens, based solely upon appearances. We have shared this story in about 20 different forums, news and classified sections, getting awesome feedback from southwest Missouri.

Since my father-in-law's medical diagnoses are well-documented, this discrimination would be in direct violation of the ADA (American Disabilities Act). He was not even asking for any special treatment or accommodations. He merely wanted to buy some knick-knacks, which is his favorite hobby since retiring and being alone.
Love Dusty Treasure. Owners are very helpful. Have a wide collection of stuff. I buy something every time I go in. My favorite place in Ozark.
He's 70 years old, has mild Alzheimer's symptoms and aphasia, which interferes with speech and the use of vocabulary. Otherwise, he's in great physical health and walks many miles each day. He lives alone in a nice 3BR home and is not poor. He does, however, look quite eccentric in dress and general appearance, as he carries a fanny pack and insulated bottles of water on his daily strolls.
Very nice clean and under new ownership
When my wife contacted the owner of DUSTY TREASURES, in Ozark, she was told that her fathered seemed mentally unstable. When asked, the store owner could not provide any particular incidents that occurred. Upon defending her father, my wife was also ordered to leave and never return.

We would ask that you, too, refrain from supporting such a business. The owner of DUSTY TREASURES has no right to operate in the Ozark Mountains I've known and loved for 50 years.
